February 2018 Regional Residential Statistics
Check out this February Residential Market Statistics, 12 Month Trend by Market. Regional sales are down, but average sale prices are up across the board. With 3 months of supply in Niagara + Dunnville, and 2.3 months of supply in Hamilton, Stoney Creek and Ancaster, we are still in a Seller’s Market.
St Catharines average sale price rose 9.5% and unit sales fell 20.5%.
Niagara on the Lake saw a 45.2% drop in unit sales, but a 6.2% increase in average sale price.
Niagara Falls’ average sale price increased 6.3% and unit sales fell 26.7%.
Fort Erie had a 33.0% decrease in unit sales, and a 4.1% increase in average sale price.
Thorold had a 42.7% decrease in unit sales over last year, and a 5.4% decrease in average sale price.
Pelham’s average sale price increased 35.3%, and unit sales decreased 43.6%.
Welland also saw a decrease in unit sales at -26.3%, and an average sale price increase of 14.7%.
Port Colborne’s average sale price increase to 26.2% over last year, and unit sales fell 30.9%.
Lincoln saw an decrease in unit sales at -24.5% and an increase of 13.6 % in average sale price.
West Lincoln has an 8.5% increase in average sale price, and unit sales stayed the same.
Grimsby had an increase in both unit sales and average sale price, at 5.0% and 0.8% respectively.
Dunnville had a decrease in unit sales at -35.9%, but average sale price rose 11.3%.
Hamilton’s average sale price rose 5.2%, but unit sales dropped 37.9%.
Ancaster unit sales decreased 32.1%, and average sale price decreased 0.4% over last year.
Stoney Creek’s unit sales and average sale price dropped, unit sales down 19.6% average sale price down 4.6%.
